Pack Your Car the Night Before!
Good Advice for Road Trips

"Pack your car the night before!" I said.
I told this to my brother before his 7 hour drive to meet us at the
beach for Thanksgiving, but of course, being my "little" brother, he did not listen. He thought he could pack his wife, two young children and all their cribs, strollers, snacks, toys, car seats and suitcases in the morning before they left. As a result, they didn't get on the road until noon! Read more.
WHAT TO PACK FOR A CRUISE
Sunblock : especially if you are traveling to a tropical area
Sunglasses: we need to protect our eyes as well as our skin
Money:
You determine the amount that you would need to spend on your
excursions , for snacks , drinks etc. And for any shopping that you may
wish to do for souveniers and such.
Personal Hygene Products:
toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash ,shampoo, conditioner,bodywash..many
of these can be purchased in travel size containers,saving you space in
your suitcase or travel bag. if you are female than you need to
remember feminine care products
Medication: If you need them..
Shaving Gear: disposable razors..If you do bring an electric shgaver ..DON"T FORGET YOUR CHARGER.
Clothes:
Pack a weather appropriate outfit for each day that you are
traveling plus a couple of extra outfits in case of a spill
..Socks and underwear..
Shoes:
Bring a couple pair of weather appropriate shoes. Keep in mind
COMFORT..especially if you will be doing any hiking...Also a dress pair
if you are attending the Captains dinner.
Beach Towel : for drying off after a dip in the pool.
Cell Phone: You should be able to contact family/friends in an emergency. DON"T FORGET TO PACK YOUR CHARGER.
Suitcase:
Save room for souviners..Someone back home maybe expecting that T-Shirt
that says..."You went on a cruise and all I got was this lousy T-shirt."
Documentation:
Identification , drivers license, passport, birth certificates, hotel
and flight confirmations, cruise documentation etc. It is a really good
idea if you leave copies of these documents at home with a friend or
relative.
